Our Story – A Legacy of Flavor Since 1989

At Express Kebab, every meal tells a story — one of dedication, resilience, and a passion for serving great food to the community we love.

Our journey began in 1989, when our founder Kadir Yalim, a hardworking butcher with big dreams, discovered a small shop he felt an instant connection with. Though he didn’t have the finances to equip it at the time, he believed in his vision. For two years, he worked tirelessly, saving every penny to buy the machines and tools he needed — one by one, week by week — until his dream became a reality: Express Kebab was born.

From that moment, Mr. Yalim poured his heart into the business. With a commitment to quality and a deep respect for the people he served, he turned Express Kebab into a local favorite — known for delicious kebabs, burgers, chips, chicken, and starters, all made fresh and served with genuine care. He ran the business with pride until 2015, when he sadly passed away.

But his story didn’t end there.

 A New Chapter: A Family Legacy Continued

Following his passing, Mr. Yalim’s sons stepped in — not just to maintain what their father built, but to elevate it. With a deep respect for his legacy and a modern vision for the future, they set out to grow the business their father started from scratch.

Since taking over, the Yalim family has transformed Express Kebab into a thriving local powerhouse. By updating operations, introducing new technology, modernizing the menu, and refreshing the branding, they’ve successfully combined tradition with innovation — all while keeping the soul of the shop intact.

Today, Express Kebab serves more customers than ever before, with a reputation that extends well beyond the local area. We’ve expanded our services, optimized delivery and takeaway options, and built a loyal customer base that spans generations. From weekday dinners to weekend cravings, Express Kebab is now a go-to destination for anyone seeking authentic, satisfying, and consistently excellent food.
